Gardner Leader Solicitors, Newbury are a local solicitors based in the Market Place. As a long standing client of ProtoCool, they turned to us when they began to consider an expansion of their premises.
This new building would require a comprehensive heating, cooling, and ventilation system. They needed it to keep their team and their visitors healthy, productive, and comfortable for years to come.
Our solution included a full mechanical and electrical package that covered:-
Electrical works
Air Conditioning
Ventilation
& Plumbing
By making use of some existing systems, we were able to keep their costs down whilst still meeting all of their requirements.
It was also crucial that the solution adhered to new part F building regulations, enacted in 2010.
For the air conditioning we opted for a Mitsubishi Electric VRF system. This would give the staff the ability to cool and heat parts of the building simultaneously.
For heat recovery, we opted for a Mitsubishi Electric Lossnays MVHR. This system redistributes the existing temperature controlled air throughout the building. This reduces heat loss and so significantly increases efficiency. It also brings in fresh filtered air, whilst simultaneously getting rid of the old.
